Envisioning the Future of Longevity

The Aging Initiative catalyzes scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to accelerate research and biotechnology that targets the biology of aging.

What We Do

The Aging Initiative brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and the public to tackle one of humanity's greatest challenges: understanding and targeting the biology of aging. Through our symposia, networking events, and educational programs, we work to accelerate the development of interventions that can extend healthy human lifespan.

Our Three Pillars

01

Education

We convene the next generation of aging researchers and leaders through rigorous, accessible education.

35+ events hosted across Boston

3,500+ members

Expert-led workshops (HMS, MIT, Broad Institute, Brigham and Women's Hospital)

02

Innovation

From research to entrepreneurship, we aim to foster translational ideas that enhance quality of life and extend healthspan.

Biomarkers of Aging partnership with BioLearn

Clinical trial design collaboration with the Boston Pepper Center

Industry-sponsored events (Lilly, Novartis, Regeneron)

03

Advocacy

By building new service and policy initiatives, we strive to give all people agency and more time with their loved ones.

Held briefing in the Massachusetts Statehouse on Aging Biology
