Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of pain and disability, yet strategies to prevent or slow its progression remain limited, and no disease-modifying osteoarthritis drugs (DMOADs) have been approved. OASIS brought together researchers, clinicians, students, and industry scientists to explore advances in early detection, disease modeling, therapeutic targets, regenerative approaches, and clinical development. Through interdisciplinary discussion and a dedicated poster session, the symposium highlighted emerging opportunities to advance the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis.
